Smarter Networks!

Maintaining many Customers within Metropolitan area, CSPs are striving to extend service offerings portfolio around CE services. It’s no secret that almost all CSP’s services affect more than one layer of infrastructure. For example, broadband access service engages connectivity in Metro Network, appliances or VNFs at IP/Service Edge and (in some cases) transit of traffic through MPLS Backbone. Taking this fact in mind, Brain4Net leverages the synergy of SDN, NFV and Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO) to provide the powerfull solution that helps Service Providers to build adaptive and service-oriented network infrastructures.

Carrier Ethernet Transport solution provides the way to build resilient and fault-tolerant network fabrics based on OpenFlow and bare-metal hardware that allows CSPs to extend Metro Networks to Telco DC, forming the unified SDN-based transport from Customer UNIs to VMs located in Datacenter. This “fabric” comprised of physical network elements [e.g. bare-metal switches in Metro Access/Aggregation Network and DC network fabric] and virtual switches in Telco Cloud environment.

SDN Transport for Service Providers and large distributed corporate networks

Features

Automation of Carrier Ethernet services provisioning – E-Line, ETree, E-LAN EVCs, while supporting multilayer QoS and L2 service OAM (Operations, Administration & Management) through CFM (Connectivity Fault Management)
This feature is designed specifically to detect and overcome port and link failures. B4N Service Platform provides fast-failover mechanisms to redirect traffic to alternative links without control plane consultation and with minimal packet. Primary and backup links are provisioned to the switch for every service
to achieve maximum network utilization and optimal load distribution between network paths while avoiding congested links. Typically calculated paths
Integration of new SDN & NFV Environment with existent IP/MPLS networks through “Distributed Routing” functionality: Routing MP-BGP component that helps CSP migrate Customers to SDN Infrastructure without any service degradation tightly and to provide L3 functionality in SDN domain.
Support the most of traditional L2/L3 technologies stack, broad range of bare-metal switches, Northbound APIs for integration with 3rd party Orchestration systems.
