Brain4Net joined Intel Network Builder program

Brain4Net joined Intel® Network Builders ecosystem.

The goal of Intel Network Builders is to accelerate network transformation in Service Providers networks and Datacenter by providing proven solutions based on  SDN and NFV concepts. The program connects more than 160 companies – software and technology vendors that are driving new solutions to the market, system integrators and service providers, and end users.

Brain4Net employs Intel® components in virtual switch solution for traffic acceleration. Intel® Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK) enables to increase vSwitch performance more than 10 times (per CPU core) compared with common virtual switch. When DPDK used in conjunction with our own architectural solutions and innovative algorithms, it allows to increase performance by 30% per CPU core compared witch Open vSwitch.

For example, Intel® components integrated in B4N Carrier Grade NAT (CG-NAT) solution to accelerate processing of network traffic in virtualized environment. Thus, virtualized CG-NAT can compete on performance with specialized hardware platforms that are much more expensive.

“Entry in Intel® Network Builders program is the important strategic step for our company. Thanks to close cooperation with the members of ecosystem, we can offer even more comprehensive solutions to meet current and future needs of our customers. According to market analytics, there are more than 200 network functions will be virtualized in the coming years. This work will take more than 5 years”, said Oleg Schapov, CEO at Brain4Net. “Performance is one of the key requirements for virtualized solutions. We employ Intel® components to increase solution performance by several times, which provides more efficiency of using SDN/NFV technologies in SP and distributed Enterprise networks”, Oleg Schapov said.

Brain4Net, Inc.

Brain4Net SDN/NFV software solutions helps Service Providers and large Enterprises to adapt modern network technologies such SDN and NFV with existent network infrastructure. Company develops a platform that turns to account benefits of SDN/NFV synergy and addresses performance and availability challenges that are the major stop factors of slow SDN adoption in networks.

Brain4Net provide SDN Controller, SDN Orchestrator, set of Virtualized Network Functions (VNFs) and SWOS operation system for Openflow switches as a part of B4N Service Platform. The platform provides integration of SDN with existing Service Providers’ IP/MPLS Network.
